Installing CorporateTime Outlook Connector

Preparation

Installation

Note: To avoid conflict between POP3 and IMAP4 protocols, Microsoft's Internet Mail or Exchange service providers should not be set up in the same profile as CorporateTime Outlook Connector if both are configured to connect to the same e-mail server.

Silent install

  1. Edit the ctoc.ini configuration file and adjust parameter values as desired. All are optional, and may be left blank. On first startup, CorporateTime Outlook Connector will prompt the user to provide any values left blank in ctoc.ini.
  2. Run oc_0303010_win_enfrgr_rtm.exe -s -cfg <drive>:<location of ctoc.ini>
    For example: oc_0303010_win_enfrgr_rtm.exe -s -cfg C:\Winnt\ctoc.ini

When installation is complete, a log file (ocsetup.log) will be created in the install target directory, reading "Installation successful."

For additional information, refer to the silent install instructions and the template configuration file.

Uninstallation

  1. From the Start menu, select Settings.
  2. From the pop-up list, select Control Panel, and double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. From the list box, choose CorporateTime Outlook Connector. Click Add/Remove...
