Installing CorporateTime Outlook Connector

Preparation

Install

Please note: To avoid conflicts between POP3 and IMAP4 protocol conflicts, do not set up Microsoft's Internet Mail or Exchange service provider and CorporateTime Outlook Connector in the same profile, if they are configured to connect to the same e-mail server.

Silent install

  1. Edit the parameter values in the ctoc.ini. The parameter values are optional and can be left blank. At initial startup, CTOC will prompt users to provide any missing values in the ctoc.ini. Please refer to the template file  for additional information.
  2. Run setupex -s -cfg<drive>:<location of ctoc.ini>
For example: setupex -s -cfg C:/Winnt/ctoc.ini

When the installation is complete, a log file (ocsetup.log) will be created in the install target directory that states "Installation successful."

Uninstall

  1. From the Start menu, select Settings, and click Control Panel.
  2. Select Add/Remove Programs.
  3. From the list box, select CorporateTime Outlook Connector. Then, click Add/Remove...
