Limitations, caveats and known problems with this release
- Folders deleted while working off-line cannot be moved back to their original location. (#13114)
- Folders cannot be renamed by simply changing the character casing. To resolve this problem, you must first rename the folder respecting the original character casing and then change the folder's character casing. (#13194)
- Creating or modifying large message bodies may prevent you from saving. To resolve this problem, use html or plain text instead of rtf file formats when manipulating off-line e-mail. (#13135)
- Sending e-mail notifications to non-CorporateTime users may result in errors if there is a meeting or resource conflict. Although the meeting will not appear in CorporateTime calendars, non-CorporateTime users may still receive your e-mail notification. (#13163)
- CTOC will not display the names of users that have enabled Can't Book Me to block meeting invitations.
- Moving the location of an e-mail message immediately after using the reply feature will keep a copy of the e-mail in its original folder. To resolve this problem, close the e-mail message before moving the file. (#12281)
The results of an advanced search will display a result of "0", although your search may have returned results. (#13105) The Free/Busy lookup feature is not available while working off-line. (#12946) Accepting a day event, daily note or holiday will display your entire day as busy. To resolve this problem, right-click the item, select Show Time As and click Free. (#12194) CTOC does not support the creation of recurring meetings on the 29th or 30th day of the month. (#12195) Recurring Day Events cannot be changed to single Day Events. (#12198) Single Day Events cannot be changed to recurring Day Events if this change will result in resource scheduling conflicts. To resolve this problem, delete your single Day Event before creating a recurring Day Event. (#12395) Display problems may result from sorting items using the tabular view. To resolve this problem, re-size the table. Public folders are not available for off-line use. To work off-line with the contents of a public folder, you must first copy the contents of a public folder to a private folder, and then enable the private folder for off-line use. (#13195) Synchronization log files generated on exit are not available off-line. Synchronization log files can only be viewed on-line or after performing subsequent synchronization operations. CTOC does not support adding a Birthday or Anniversary to a contact while working off-line. To resolve this problem, add the Birthday or Anniversary to your contact while working on-line. CorporateTime Outlook Connector does not recognize Macintosh attachments containing a resource fork. (#12152) Meetings and Appointments created as Personal are displayed as Private. (#12164) Customizing views using the Group By option will display folders as empty. (#12977) Although CTOC does support the ability to change descriptions and attachments for individual instances of recurring meetings, CorporateTime native clients do not, and will display only descriptions and attachments specified for the entire series of recurrences. To avoid POP and IMAP4 protocol conflicts, Microsoft's Internet Mail service provider and CorporateTime Outlook Connector should not be set up in the same profile if they are configured to connect to the same e-mail server. Note: For additional information please consult the CTOC FAQs on our web site.
