New features added since CorporateTime 5.0
- The Group View now allows you to view the schedules of people and resources for whom you do not have booking rights. It is also possible to include or exclude group members from the combined view.
- With the enhanced Connection Editor, you can edit your connections through a master node or a calendar domain server.
- Use the In-tray on startup preferences to choose when you would like your In-tray to be displayed.
- Hold or discard your messages with the new wireless settings available in CorporateTime 5.1. You can receive notification of changes to your Entries and have your messages delivered during the time slot of your choice.
- Print in color based on your acceptance status of meetings. If you are not using a color printer, different shades of gray are used to distinguish attendance statuses for meetings.
- Users can choose to disable the Address Book. Those working on a shared machine or in environments in which password changes are made from other applications will find this especially helpful. For more information, consult the Server Parameters document.
- Users can now log in to a master node.

New features added since CorporateTime 4.1
Limitations, caveats, and known problems in this release
- With CorporateTime 5.1.5, SASL (Simple Authentication and Security Layer) is not supported under certain configurations. You will not be able to use it when you are connecting to ASP servers, servers with master nodes using the generic settings or when you are off-line.
- If you have decided to have your In-tray closed on startup, the New Entry icon will not appear when you have new entries. Suggested workaround: Select Refresh All from the View menu. (#687)
- When all of the attendees of a meeting are remote users, control right-clicking on the meeting will bring up an empty box instead of the list of attendees. The list will be properly displayed if there is at least one local attendee,. (#811)
- If you change from one time zone to another and then switch to the off-line mode, your on-line and off-line time zones will not be synchronized. (#970, 971)
- If you make modifications to your agenda preferences while you are on-line, not all of the preferences will be saved when you go off-line. (#1060)
- When you create a SASL connection, sign in on-line and then select to work off-line, you will not be asked to enter a password. When you next you choose to work off-line, you will be asked to enter your password. Since the password was empty the last time you worked off-line, press Enter. (#1154)
- If you do not have a browser and are using Windows 95, you may encounter some display issues while using CorporateTime. (#1552)
French version of CorporateTime 5.1 for Windows:
- ACE descriptions are not translated in the Connection Editor.
German version of CorporateTime 5.1 for Windows:
- ACE descriptions are not translated in the Connection Editor.
Japanese version of CorporateTime 5.1 for Windows:
- ACE descriptions are not translated in the Connection Editor.
- If a user logs out while working off-line and a second user logs in, decides to work off-line and selects Cancel in the Different Local Storage dialog box, CorporateTime will close. Suggested workaround: Do not click Cancel in the Different Local Storage dialog box, but select a location for your off-line Agenda instead. (#1667)
Resolved limitations since 5.1.3
- When importing an iCalendar file of more than 4 KB, you may receive a module error and be unable to continue the operation. (#40)
- While using the In-tray, if you refresh your screen and then refuse an entry, you will be able to see it in both the "New Entries" and "Entries you've refused" folders. Suggested workaround: Select Refresh All from the View menu. (#1085)
Resolved limitations since 5.1.2
- When daylight savings time is not enabled, the time zone may be incorrect if you log in on-line, exit, and then log in off-line. (#17)
- If your server has a long name and you are using a Windows 98 machine, CorporateTime may close and you will be unable to log in. (#19)
Resolved limitations since 5.1.1
- Using the Group View for an extended period of time may cause the application to close. This occurs more frequently with Windows 95 and 98. (#1113)
- When you export an iCalendar file to Outlook 2000, the meeting's specified duration may be inaccurate. (#1687)
Resolved limitations since 5.1
- The application will freeze when you create an ASP connection and set it as your default, enable the automatic sign in, quit the application and then restart it. (#888)
- When working off-line, using Search may return more results than is correct. (#894)
- If there is a meeting in the middle of the Group View, a grey line will bisect the screen. (#965)
- Opening a Group View for three users, refreshing the view and then excluding one of the members may terminate the program. (#968)
- In the Group View, long resource names may run into the checkboxes. (#969)
- While off-line, searching for an attendee without using a search string will show you all Entries. (#973)
- When upgrading from CorporateTime 3.4 to CorporateTime 5.1, you will get an error message if your server has a long name. You can continue, although the server name will be cut short. (#974)
- If you have two meetings directly following each other in the same room, adding a small amount of time to the first meeting will give you an error instead of a conflict message. (#975)
- You may have to wait to be able to continue if you list the attendees for a new entry in the New Entries folder of the In-tray and then accept it. (#977)
- If you have two Meetings scheduled for the same time and you create the same reminder for each of the Meetings, the first reminder will not appear. If you set a reminder for an Entry, it may not appear at the correct time. When you have more than one reminder set for a particular day, they will all arrive together. (#1029 and #1046)
- If you create a Daily Note or Day Event by clicking on the toolbar of an older version of CorporateTime for Windows and then migrate to CorporateTime for Macintosh 5.1, the Daily Notes and Day Events will appear on the wrong days when you view them from a Windows machine. Those created by double-clicking in the Notes and Events pane will be shown on the proper days. (#1041)
- When installing CorporateTime 5.1.1 with installshield 6.0, an error message appears. (#1045)
- The Agenda Preferences | Wireless Settings dialog contains incorrect terminology. (#1074)
- If you are downloading your agenda and the download fails, all of the events that were supposed to be downloaded will be marked as deleted. When you go on-line, reconciling your agenda may delete those events. If you were downloading another user's agenda at the same time, their events may also be deleted. A dialog will appear for each event to be deleted. (#1081)
- The Combined column is not automatically updated if you include or exclude an attendee in the Group View. (#1115)
- A module error will occur if you do a directory search for a group that has more than 150 members. (#1125)
- If you open remote user's agenda and the day that you are viewing has an event whose details exceed a certain length, the application will close. (#1128)
Resolved limitations since 5.0
[ENG]
- When a non-CorporateTime user receives an iCal or vCal attachment from a CorporateTime user, his e-mail viewer defaults will dictate whether he sees the attachment inline or as an attachment. (#896)
- When importing a file, clicking on Cancel will not always stop the process. (#11831)
- When performing an Agenda Search, you may receive a message stating that no match has been found. It is possible that the server has not even been reached in t hat time period and so you are advised to try again. Your system administrator can change the time interval setting by adding the following parameter to the ENG section of the server unison.ini:
eventsearch_maxlookthroughlimit = 5000
