Limitations, caveats, and
known problems with this release
-
The initial release of CorporateTime 5.0 (Build #1000928) will not work
with CorporateTime Server 4.0. We have fixed this limitation and have re-shipped
the application. If you are using CorporateTime 5.0 (Build #1000928) with
CorporateTime Server 4.0, please upgrade to CorporateTime 5.0 (Build #
1001004).
-
When downloading using CorporateTime 3.4.2 with CorporateTime Server 5.0
or later, your off-line password will be changed to an empty password.
When migrating from CorporateTime 3.4.2 to CorporateTime 5.0, you will
be asked for your off-line password after you have migrated the off-line
files.
-
In order to have the complete CorporateTime 5.0 feature set, you must use
CorporateTime Server 5.0 with the Enhancement Pack 1 or CorporateTime Server
5.1.
-
The Address Book settings will not be saved when you change them to display
other information.
-
Exporting an Event in the ASCII file format will not export the location
information. (#10816)
-
If you create a repeating meeting while working in the MEZ-1MESZ time zone,
you will see yesterday's date in the Additional Date field. (#11527)
-
If you give Access Rights to a user and then download his Agenda, you will
not have access to his Tasks. (#11655)
-
When importing a file, clicking on Cancel will not always stop the process.
(#11831)
-
Reconciling your Daily Notes, Day Events and Meetings will cause more than
one dialog box to appear. (#12641)
-
You must open a new view in order to institute changes made to the start
day of your Weekly View. (#13086)
-
Reminders do not appear by default when importing a vCalendar file. (#13308)
-
When doing a directory search, first or last names that contain a space
must be entered using "^" to replace the space. (#13309)
-
When performing an Agenda Search, you may receive a message stating that
no match has been found. It is possible that the server has not even been
reached in that time period and so you are advised to try again. Your system
administrator can change the time interval setting by adding the following
parameter to the ENG section of the server unison.ini:
[ENG]
eventsearch_maxlookthroughlimit = 5000
(#13380)
-
Automatic Sign-in is enabled with Windows 2000 and NT. With Windows 95,
Windows 98 and Windows ME, the Automatic Sign-in box appears to be enabled
even though it is not. (#13484)
-
In addition to these limitations, here are those of CorporateTime 4.2:
-
Writing to a device that is not ready (e.g. a drive with no disk inside)
causes a Critical Error.
-
Clicking List Dates on the Repeating tab of an Entry dialog box
erases any date previously added using the Additional Date feature.
-
When printing an Address Book Entry using F11 or File | Print Selected
Entry, any Personal Notes and Notes are printed without carriage returns.
-
If you change your on-line password, your off-line
password is automatically modified.
-
In the CorporateTime 4.1 User Guide, the 4.2 Appendix for Wireless Message
Notification is inaccurate. For up-to-date information on configuring your
mobile device for notification, refer to the on-line help included with
the product.
Bugs fixed since Beta 2
-
When printing an Agenda for an extended date range, it is possible that
more days than requested will be printed up and that the events shown on
the printed page will not correspond to those scheduled in your Agenda.
(#11000)
-
When there are no default reminders, reminders that are set in the New
Meetings | Reminders tab disappear when you select "Apply to all" in the
General tab. (#12687)
-
When upgrading from CorporateTime 3.4.10 to CorporateTime 5.0, your off-line
data will be erased without warning and a program crash may occur. (#12833)
-
If you attempt to reschedule an instance of a recurring Day Event or Daily
Note while in the In-tray, that particular instance is removed from your
Agenda. You can click on Parent set to make that Event or Note reappear.
(#12960)
-
In the Day View and the Week View, you can scroll up and down to see the
meeting blocks. However, the time bar on the left will not change with
the appropriate meeting times. (#13235)
-
When two Agendas are open and the user tries to print his own Agenda after
doing a print preview, the second user's Agenda will be printed. (#13278)
-
The Unison.log file always appears on the user's desktop. It can be deleted
but will reappear every time the Agenda is opened. (#13295)
-
If you create a group meeting that repeats over several days and select
"Conflicts: Display" to discover that more than one instance has a conflict
with another meeting, those meetings will have red Xs displayed beside
them. However, if you are in the Repeating tab and delete one of conflicting
repeating meetings, the red X disappears from any other meeting that may
also have a conflict, even though "Conflicts: Display" is still selected.
