Limitations, caveats, and known problems with this release
Server (unison.ini)
- Setting the mail parameter in unison.ini to FALSE has no effect on the Notification tab of the Create or Edit Entry pages. (#001195)
General
- Users may experience display problems and erratic behavior if they are using any 4x version of Netscape or version 1x of Mozilla.
- Netscape 6.2 for Macintosh: Trying to change your password will generate a fatal error and quit the application. (#004094)
- When you generate a Repeating Entry with a first instance date that does not match the default date on the General page, the default date will not be updated to reflect the Repeating date. (#002024)
The error message should say "Invalid search criteria." (#006134)
- If the "g:" or "r:" prefixes are used when performing a search from the Edit Access Rights page, the error messages that appear are misleading:
- When 12:00 p.m. is selected from the drop-down box on the Suggest Time page, 12:00 a.m. is set in the General section of the Entry Modification/Creation pages. This is only an issue when you are using the 12-hour time format for the web client. (#006142)
- When clicking Suggest Time from the Create/Modify Meeting page, the Suggest Time dialog box opens but appears behind the main page. This is only an issue with Internet Explorer for Macintosh. (#006149)
OR
- When setting values for the Print section of the Preferences page, using a value greater than 3 for the Margin setting causes the web client to freeze. (#006156)
- If the default start and/or end time in the Group View is changed and then a search for a group is performed, a "No Response from Application Web Server" page appears. Internet Explorer 5.x on Macintosh only.
- Follow the steps below to ensure that the Printer-friendly format feature will work correctly. Netscape 7.x only.
- The hour set in the "From" and "To" times in the Deliver reminders and notifications field in the Wireless section of the Edit Preferences page must be greater than or equal to one. For example, using 0hr 00min will result in an error. This is only an issue when the 24-hour display format is used.
FastCGI
Suggested Workaround: Set the following parameters in ocal.conf:
- If the values for certain FastCGI parameters are too low, you may experience performance problems at startup.
- Oracle CorporateTime for the Web will occasionally generate orphan processes that are not terminated automatically.
Resolved limitations since last release
Limitations resolved in last release
- Oracle CorporateTime for the Web fails without periodic restarts of Apache Server. (#005472)
- If you are using the web client on a Mac, uploaded attachments will be corrupted. (#005853)
- A "Bad Request" error is displayed when connecting to an SSL server in ADA mode. This error does not occur for all pages. (#005596)
