Unpack the distribution archive in a directory. In the following instructions,
we will use /usr/local as an example.
For example:
cd /usr/local
gtar zxvf /tmp/ctime502_linuxre.tar.gz
or
gtar zxvf /tmp/ctime502_solaris.tar.gz, depending on your
platform.
This extracts ctime, ctime support libraries, html-help
and readme.htm into a new directory called CorporateTime. Then
type
cd CorporateTime
Set the environment variable CTIME_ROOT so that it points to /usr/local/CorporateTime, the directory that has been created. Add the /usr/local/CorporateTime directory to your path.
Run / usr/local/CorporateTime/ctime.sh.
