System Requirements

Handheld

• Pocket PC (Windows CE 3.0) with MIPS, SH3 or ARM processor

• CorporateTime Server 4.0 or greater, or Netscape Calendar Server 3.5.x or greater

Features

• Synchronize using a PC that does not have a CorporateTime client installed.
• Choose whether or not refused Entries will be synchronized.
• Synchronize with a CorporateTime 4.2 + Address Book.
• Automatically install the link when the user performs the next synchronization.
• Synchronize the list of users and resources invited to Entries (max 12).
• Limit the size of details that are synchronized.

Limitations, caveats and known problems with this release

• CorporateSync for Pocket PC does not support the HP Jornada 720 or the NEC MobilePro 790.
• Reminders for Entries and Tasks will occurr if the reminder was set to alarm on the same day you synchronize your Pocket PC. An error message will be displayed, but this will not affect synchronization. Suggested Workaround: Open your Pocket PC calendar, double-click the Entry that failed to synchronize and click OK. Your reminder will now be immediately updated to the user notification database.
• Attendees and Details in Day Events and Daily Notes created in CorporateTime will be transferred to the Notes section on the handheld device. Any notes created on the handheld before creating the Attendee list (not in the details section) will be deleted upon synchronization. (#9107)
• Pocket Outlook does not support times in start and due dates. If you modify these Tasks on the handheld and then synchronize, the times will be lost. (#9048)
• Entries will be deleted if they are deleted on one side and an unmapped field is modified on the other. (#8812)
• Entries on your desktop and handheld will be duplicated and viewed as non-corresponding Entries if the application is uninstalled and then reinstalled. Suggested Workaround: Reinstall CorporateSync without uninstalling it first. (#8947)
• Your handheld must be connected to the PC while installing remote files. (#8884)
• Repeating Events on your handheld cannot be synchronized. CorporateTime recurring Entries can be synchronized.
• Address Book Entries cannot be synchronized when CorporateTime is open on your PC.
• Only one Address Book can be synchronized.
• CorporateSync only fully supports English-language synchronization.
• Unmodified handheld contacts will be deleted on synchronization if the CorporateTime Address Book is deleted and the recreated with the same name.
• CorporateSync cannot display a list of possible matches for duplicated names. Suggested Workaround: Enter as much unique user information as possible (e.g. organization unit, etc.).
