This installation of this product places files on both the local (desktop) machine and the remote (H/PC) device. Both the desktop and H/PC components must be installed in their respective locations for this product to function correctly.
To install this application run the setup program which is provided with the distribution and follow the on-screen instructions:
Synchronization settings are distributed between the remote device and the desktop application. User information, synchronization ranges, and synchronization rules for events, tasks, and contacts are both set and stored on the H/PC. The synchronization activity and the rules for conflict resolution are set and stored on the desktop PC.
Do not make modifications to your Pocket Outlook data or your calendaring application data while synchronizing. Doing so may result in loss of data.
To remove the syncronization application from your desktop computer run the "Add/Remove Programs" applet which is found in the Control Panel under Windows 95/NT and select "CorporateSync for Windows CE".
To remove the "CorporateSync Settings" control panel applet from your H/PC run the "Add/Remove Programs" applet which is found in the Control Panel on your Windows CE device and select "CS&T CorporateSync Setup Applet". The "CorporateSync Settings" icon will be removed from the control panel the next time that the control panel is started.
Deleting the application and then reinstalling will cause all Entries that are on both your hand-held and desktop to be viewed as separate Entries. The next time you synchronize, the Entries will be duplicated. To avoid this, reinstall CorporateSync without uninstalling it first.
