Limitations, caveats, and known problems with this release
- Only the first word object of an entry on the Psion device is synchronized with the details field on your calendar server.
- Synchronization of attendees of calendar server Entries is currently unsupported.
- Synchronization of Psion Anniversaries is not supported.
- Untimed Day Entries get synchronized as five-minute Entries on the calendar server. If you created the Entry in your Day View, the start time will be the start of day as defined in your preferences. If you did not create the Entry in your Day View, the start time will be 12:00 a.m.
- The location of a Day Entry on the Psion is marked in
parentheses in the Text field of your calendar server Entry. If you want your
calendar server Entry location to synchronize properly with the Psion, this
parenthesized phrase must appear at the end of the Text field.
- Series 7: Modifications to Contacts should only be made using the Psion device to ensure proper synchronization.
- Series 5mx, Revo: Only the first two Psion Home tel Entries are supported two address fieds label.
- Series 5: Modifying the start/end time or date of an Entry on the Psion and changing the attendance status on the calendar server to "not attending" resets the calendar server Entry to "attending".
- Series 3: Due to a limitation in PsiWin, modifying
the start/end time or date of an Entry on the Psion that exists on the
calendar server may cause Entry duplication.
CorporateSync for Psion, Netscape Address Book
- Psion Department is currently unsupported.
- Due to a limitation in PsiWin, line feeds in Netscape Communicator Address
Book Entries are converted to spaces during synchronization.
PsiWin 2.2
- Editing and deleting individual instances of a
Repeating Entry may not function properly.
Psion Series 5, 5mx, 7 or Revo
- Avoid changing the "Agenda Entries to synchronize"
option on the Psion-to-PC page back and forth between "Only Entries within
your work hours" and other options. If you do so, Entry duplication may occur.
