1. Installing the product
To install CorporateSync 1.1.3 for Psion, run the setup program provided
with the distribution and follow the on-screen instructions:
-
in the single file package, the setup program is the
packaged ".exe" file itself.
-
in the cd-rom or floppy disk distribution, the setup
program is called "setup.exe".
-
you will be asked whether you want to install CorporateSync for Psion,
NetscapeTM Address Book Edition after installation.
If you are installing an evaluation copy of this product, it will expire
30 days after you install it.
2. Using the product
CorporateSync for Psion
After the installation is complete, access CorporateSync through the "Psion
Synchronizer" provided with PsiWin. Create a new synchronizer task and
select CorporateSync from the pull-down menu.
In the "Application Properties" page:
-
select the "Enable Agenda Synchronization" checkbox.
-
enter the Agenda file you want to synchronize in the
EPOC Agenda field. Browse your device for a file if you wish.

enter your user name and password (case sensitive).
-
enter the name of your calendar server host in the
server field.
-
enter the server host node in the node field (optional). If you leave it
blank, the default node for the server is used. If you are unsure about
your server host or node, contact your system administrator.

enter the data file you want to synchronize in the contact field. Browse
your device for a file if you wish.
In the "Entry Type Properties" page:
-
enable or disable synchronization of Meetings, Day
Events/Daily Notes, and Tasks by checking the appropriate checkboxes.

Enter the name of the calendar server Address Book you wish to synchronize
with your Psion contact file.
In the "Psion-to-PC Properties" page:
-
set your synchronization range.
-
choose whether to bring only items from your Psion
that are within your normal work hours.

Click Advanced to choose which Address Book Entry data fields to map to
your Psion contact data fields. If your Psion contact file does not already
exist, you cannot configure field mapping. However, if you attempt to synchronize
anyway, the contact file is created with some default fields before synchronization;
you will then be given the option to configure your field mapping.
CorporateSync for Psion, Netscape Address
Book Edition
After the installation is complete, access CorporateSync for Psion, Netscape
Address Book Edition through the "Psion Synchronizer" provided
with PsiWin.
Create a new synchronizer task and select CorporateSync for Psion, Netscape
Address Book Edition from the menu provided by the Psion Synchronizer Wizard.
In the "Application Properties" page:

Select the "Enable Contact Synchronization" checkbox.
The Data file you want to synchronize goes into the EPOC Data field. Browse
your device for a file by clicking "Browse."

Click on Configure and then Select

Choose the profile you wish to be synchronized.

Then select the address book you wish to be synchronized from the list
of available Netscape Address Books. Click OK when you are done.
3. Uninstalling this product
To
remove the syncronization application from your desktop computer, select Control
Panels > Add/Remove Programs and choose "CorporateSync for Psion".
